Bass Coast libraries offer a wide range of books, magazines, CDs and DVDs, videos and audiotapes. Free internet access is also available. Best of all, membership is FREE!

Branches and Mobile Library Service

Branches can be found in Wonthaggi, Cowes and Inverloch. You can also use the mobile service that regularly visits Grantville, Corinella, Coronet Bay, San Remo and Kilcunda. Library services are provided by the Council through its membership of the West Gippsland Regional Library Corporation. The Corporation is contracted to provide library services on behalf of the Council.

To renew your borrowed materials or see the library's latest news, you can contact the West Gippsland Regional Library Corporation on (03) 5622 2849.

Why not join one of the Friends of the Library groups which assist in ensuring the community has input into the library services. Friends Groups are located at Inverloch, Wonthaggi and Phillip Island. For details ask at your local library or visit the Corporation's website.

Victorians  Love Libraries

As part of the National Year of Reading 2012, Victorians Love Libraries is a partnership between local councils, the Municipal Association Victoria (MAV) and Public Libraries Victoria Network (PLVN) to encourage people to visit their library
