Inverloch was the first community to complete a Community Plan in Bass Coast.
The Inverloch Community Plan (PDF 2MB) was developed in 2008 and the Inverloch Community Planning Group has been working on their priority projects since that time with great success. Projects have included supporting the building of the Inverloch Surf Lifesaving Clubhouse, improved shared pathways in and around Inverloch and working towards an eco-friendly town.
In October 2011 the Inverloch Community Planning Group won Tidy Town Awards for Cultural Heritage - Celebrating Inverloch’s Cultural Heritage and Community Government Partnership - Community Planning Partnerships. The Group was also a finalist in the Tidy Town of the Year Award 2011. This is a great reward for the hard work done by this group.
The Inverloch Community Planning Group will shortly begin reviewing their Plan by evaluating the progress of projects to date and planning for future projects.
