The Bass Coast Transport Connections Project helps communities work together to find creative ways of improving transport options. Did you know rural communities consistently rate the lack of transport options a major barrier to accessing employment, education, social activities?
We help communities bridge the gaps between private vehicle ownership and local, community and public transport so people can more easily participate in community life. Some options may include taxis, school buses, community buses, volunteers and outreach or virtual access.
While we don't manage or provide public transport we try to provide as much information as we can to help you find your way from A to B. If you would like information such as timetables or contact details for public transport providers, our Public Transport page can help.
Transport Connections is funded by the Department of Planning and Community Development and their website provides more information. Alternatively, please contact our Transport Connections Facilitator on 1300 BCOAST (226 278) or by email on transportconnections@basscoast.vic.gov.au.
