Carnival & Festival Permits
Carnivals and festivals are welcome in Bass Coast, but to run they must have a permit from Council.
Application
If you or your organisation wants to conduct a carnival or festival you must apply for a permit from one of our Customer Service Centres.
Each event is unique, and organisers face different challenges. Council will look at each application on its merits and will apply appropriate permit conditions to ensure the safety of the public, and help the success of the event. You may be contacted by Council to discuss your application once it is received.
Public Liability Insurance
Your application must be accompanied by a certificate of currency for public liability insurance. Your policy must provide coverage to the minimum value of $10,000,000.00.
